After the success of the music video FUNKY ARABS in the australian film festival in Parramatta, Jad Shwery's song and video has been broadcasted on BNN, a Dutch broadcasting television channel in Holland (Bart's News Network). The music video was shown in a special documentary about lebanon and the middle east during summer, portraying the lifestyles of some vacationers in beirut along with some real life images from clubs all over the city.
Although the music video for Funky arabs is still enjoying a record breaking number of week on the top of the most requested videos on melody, Jad shwery just released his new single "Stop Popping Pills" with the lebanese Dj producers the AB brothers; Roger and Charly Abboud. The song is written and composed by Jad and the music produced by the AB bros. The music video was directed by Jad as well, and the Graphics done by Daniel Abd el sater and Zahi haddad.
On another hand Jad won t be too absent from the arabic music scene as he is about to finish his arabic album and shoot the first music video out of it during the holy month of Ramadan.
Stop Popping Pills is #2 in "Sinalco Top 20" on Melody and #1 on Radio Sawa !
